Cannes: FilmNation selling Almodovar's Los Amantes Pasajeros

The auteur's latest film offers existential angst on board a plane.

FilmNation Entertainment is reteaming with Pedro Almodóvar to sell his next film Los Amantes Pasajeros, which is debuting at the Marche du Film in Cannes.

Written and directed by Almodóvar, the comedy stars Javier Cámara (Talk To Her), Cecilia Roth (All About My Mother) and Lola Dueñas (Volver) and follows a very mixed group of travelers who are in a life-threatening situation on board a plane flying to Mexico City. Their defenselessness in the face of danger provokes colorful confessionals that become the best way to escape from the idea of death.

Cannes: FilmNation to sell Parkour thriller 'Tracers'

FilmNation Entertainment will introduce the action thriller TRACERS to international buyers at the Cannes Film Festival. From the producers of Twilight and Dear John, TRACERS will star Taylor Lautner (The Twilight Saga, Abduction) and will be directed by Daniel Benmayor (Bruc, the Manhunt). Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey of Temple Hill Entertainment will produce.
