FilmNation Entertainment is reteaming with Pedro Almodóvar to sell his next film Los Amantes Pasajeros, which is debuting at the Marche du Film in Cannes.

Written and directed by Almodóvar, the comedy stars Javier Cámara (Talk To Her), Cecilia Roth (All About My Mother) and Lola Dueñas (Volver) and follows a very mixed group of travelers who are in a life-threatening situation on board a plane flying to Mexico City. Their defenselessness in the face of danger provokes colorful confessionals that become the best way to escape from the idea of death.

UNDER THE SKIN, starring Scarlett Johansson and directed by Jonathan Glazer, is now in post-production in London.

Glazer’s third film following Sexy Beast and Birth, UNDER THE SKIN is the story of an alien in human form. Part road movie, part science fiction, part real, it’s a film about seeing our world through alien eyes.

Once upon a midnight dreary, Relativity Media, Intrepid Pictures and FilmNation Entertainment picked the perfect venue for the preem of "The Raven," with stars John Cusack, Luke Evans and Alice Eve flocking downtown to the Los Angeles Theater on Monday night.

MUD, directed by Jeff Nichols (Take Shelter), stars Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon and Tye Sheridan. It is the story of an improbably friendship between 14 year old Ellis (Sheridan) and a charismatic fugitive named Mud (McConaughey).

In the spirit of Stand By Me, MUD is an instant classic, a compelling tale of innocence lost and an undeniable testament to the power of love.

LAWLESS directed by John Hillcoat (The Road), stars Tom Hardy, Shia LaBoeuf, Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska. It is the true story of the Bondurant brothers, freewheelin’ bootleggers who take the law into their own hands. Brazen and fearless, these young rural hard-men helped build the American Dream in this exuberant tale of what was to become crime’s first major gold rush.

Hillcoat brings his striking visual style, visceral storytelling and deft hand with actors to what is an extremely entertaining and exhilarating film! It will be distributed by The Weinstein Company in the US.

EXCLUSIVE: Open Road is setting a February 8, 2013 release date for Bitter Pill, the film that Steven Soderbergh began shooting in New York. The film stars Rooney Mara, Jude Law, Channing Tatum, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Vinessa Shaw. Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Gregory Jacobs and Scott Z. Burns are producing a script that Soderbergh and Burns wrote. Endgame financed the film.

Oscar winning writer, director, and producer Sofia Coppola is both reteaming with longtime distribution partners Pathe, Tohokushinsha Film Corporation, StudioCanal, and Tobis as well as forging a new relationship with financing and production company NALA Films (CASA DE MI PADRE, IN THE VALLEY OF ELAH) for her new project, THE BLING RING.

Financing was arranged by Bart Walker of Cinetic Media, who will also handle the U.S. sale, and Hirsch Wallerstein Hayum Matlof + Fishman. NALA was represented by Glenn Feig of Reder & Feig.

Allison Silver, with whom Coppola worked on LOST IN TRANSLATION at Focus Features, brought the project to FilmNation. FilmNation will handle international sales for the film.

It's hard to express our excitement at the release of this trailer for Chernobyl Diaries. This is our first fully financed picture, we're working with Oren Peli and the movie's scary as hell.

Chernobyl Diaries is an original story from Oren Peli, who first terrified audiences with his groundbreaking thriller, "Paranormal Activity." The film follows a group of six young tourists who, looking to go off the beaten path, hire an "extreme tour" guide. Ignoring warnings, he takes them into the city of Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, but a deserted town since the disaster more than 25 years ago. After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, however, the group soon finds themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone...
