EVP, Post Production
Mike Jackman is the Executive Vice President of Post Production at FilmNation overseeing post as well as international servicing. Mike began his career in NYC working on films including Mississippi Burning, Crimes and Misdemeanors and Cape Fear. After ten years in NYC, Mike moved to Los Angeles where he worked for Turner Pictures and then produced a number of indies including the Sony Pictures Classics Just Looking. After post supervising Oliver Stone's Any Given Sunday, Mike partnered with Jason Alexander (Seinfeld) at Twentieth Century Fox, developing and producing the Agent Cody Banks films and Bob Patterson for ABC/Fox TV. Returning to New York after five years in LA, Mike post supervised a string of Academy Award(R) nominated films including Gangs of New York, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Aviator and Super Size Me. Mike then became Senior Vice President of Post Production for The Weinstein Company and Dimension Films and two years later was recruited to build a 45,000 sq ft, state-of-the-art post production facility in New York's West Village for Deluxe Entertainment. Mike also serves as Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the New York Production Alliance, Associate Board Member of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) and Scenarios USA. His favorite movies are Caddyshack and Blade Runner.
